Callum Andrews studied a Bachelor of Design in Architecture at the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Architecture at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is a registered Architect (NSW ARB No. 12069) based in Sydney and has worked with award-winning architectural practices across Australia, contributing to the design and delivery of public, community and housing projects. In addition to his work in Australia, he has been involved in collaborative on-site design projects delivering housing, education and community facilities to developing communities in Cambodia and Vanuatu.
Callum was awarded an inaugural Alastair Swayn Foundation Research Grant in support of his project, titled ‘Building community engagement with architectural services in bushfire affected communities’. His work is driven by an interest in housing, community infrastructure and projects that create meaningful social outcomes through thoughtful, inclusive and well-considered design.
